Golf Outing Thrives in Beautiful Weather (2017)
On Saturday, May 13, Right to Life of Shelby County hosted its 7th Annual Scramble-4-Life golf outing at Shelby Oaks Golf Club. Twenty-three teams participated in the event that was sponsored by 28 area businesses and families. In addition to participants receiving a commemorative tumbler, door prizes and $700 in prize money were awarded.
The Scramble-4-Life raised over $6,000 for RTL this year, bringing the cumulative total raised from this event (since 2011) to $36,200!

2015 Golf Outing Sets Records
The 5th Annual Scramble-4-Life was held Saturday, May 9, and set new records for both fundraising and team participation! Many thanks to Tim Dietz and Julia Monnin and their families for their tremendous work in organizing this event. The weather was perfect for the 26 teams that teed off for the 8:30am shotgun start.

Golf Outing a Success (2013)
On Saturday, May 11, Right to Life of Shelby County hosted its 3rd Annual Scramble-4-Life golf outing at Shelby Oaks Golf Club. Twenty-one teams participated in the event that was sponsored by over 25 area businesses and families. Each participant received a pro-life golf towel. Numerous door prizes, 50/50 raffle money, and $700 in prize money were also awarded to the participants.
A special thanks to everyone who supported this pro-life event! The money raised will help the Right to Life continue its efforts to promote respect and legal protection for all human life from the moment of conception until natural death. As a result of all the generous donations from this event, the Scramble-4-Life was able to raise over $4,600 for RTL bringing the total amount raised over the last three years to $12,855!

Weather Smiles on Golf Benefit for Right to Life (2012)
Although 2011 was a rainout, the weather couldn't have been better for the 2nd Annual Scramble-4-Life golf outing, a benefit event for Shelby County Right to Life. Twenty-five teams participated in the scramble Saturday, May 19, at Shelby Oaks Golf Course.

Scramble-4-Life Helps Promote Pro-Life Cause (2011)
On Saturday, May 14, 2011, Right to Life of Shelby County hosted its 1st Annual Scramble-4-Life golf outing at Shelby Oaks Golf Club. Twenty-five teams participated in the event that was sponsored by over 20 area businesses and families. Each participant received a pro-life goodie bag filled with gifts including a “Choose Life” ball marker. Numerous door prizes, 50/50 raffle money, and $700 in prize money were also awarded to the participants.
A thunderstorm forced the scramble to be cut short, but participants still enjoyed themselves while on the course. Local participant Dan Jock stated, “The weather did not cooperate, but I was thrilled to see the turnout and happy to donate to the Right to Life.” Event coordinator, Tim Dietz, was also pleased with the great turnout and tremendous support from all the event sponsors stating, “The donations we received from sponsors and the amount of teams that joined us exceeded our expectations for this inaugural event. It was unfortunate that we were unable to complete the tournament because of the weather, but Rob Fridley and the staff at Shelby Oaks were incredibly helpful in helping the event run smoothly and sorting things out after the rain. We are looking forward to having the opportunity to host the scramble again next spring. Thank you to everyone who supported the cause to end abortion and respect all life."
